Hot summer weather is here and with it Plymouth's wonderful Linen Isle. This delightful yarn is a mix of cotton and linen and comes in several shades. It is great for tanks, lace sweaters, and even skirts! At first Linen Isle can be a little disappointing because it has a "harsh" hand. However, once you begin to knit with it the linen fibers soften, resulting in a garment with fabulous drape.

Hello from far North of Scotland. I am jealous of the beautiful linens because it is still pretty cold here. I keep hoping for summer. Meanwhile, I'm still knitting with yarns I bought there last year.
I have started a little knitting group up here, but I still miss you all.
