Christina and Lin did an amazing job painting sock yarn in Clara's favorite colors.

For those of you who do not know, Clara is my 3 year old daughter who loves pink, purple, and recently green too.

The yarn should be available very soon for sale at our store. One skein makes a pair of socks.

Hand Dyed Yarns from Stitches and Scones

We are proud to announce Stitches & Scones will soon have our very own line of hand dyed yarn! You will not want to miss the opportunity to knit with these new hand dyed colorways. We will be offering this line of yarn in three weights: sock weight, for all the sock & lace knitters; worsted weight, for all the sweater knitters; and a lumpy/bumpy chunky, for all of you who love making hats & scarves.

Each line will be dyed in small batches so we would strongly suggest you sign up to receive notices when each batch arrives.

We expect our first batch of sock yarn to be arriving shortly. We'll leave the name of that yarn and it's colorway a surprise. But we can guarantee it will be special!

New Bakery In The Neighborhood

The Delicious Bakery & Cafe just opened in Westfield this past week. Today we took a walk down the street to check it out.

It is so exciting! They have a whole wall of delicious pastries, sweet breads and breads. The pastries are huge and resonably priced.... and they have coffee drinks!

It is the perfect place to dash in and get a cup of coffee & pastry before you come in to sit & knit. Yes! We don't mind if you bring in a pastry and a cup of coffee!

This morning the UPS man left us a delighful package -- new colorways from Jade Sapphire in their wonderful 2 ply Silk Cashmere.

This yarn has a soft, silky hand and a gentle shine to it. Each skein is hand dyed and beautifully unique.
