LisaIf you were at Indiana's State Fair this year you might have witnessed the Sheep to Shawl Contest...a grueling all-day effort between teams of spinners and weavers who raced against the clock (and each other!) to complete a project, starting from roving and ending with a finished garment. Stitches and Scones is proud to announce that the team led by our instructor, Lisa Fink, earned Grand Champion. The girls both volunteer at Conner Prairie and represented their youth teams. The woven scarf made by our instructor, Elizabeth Barge's team, was sold at auction for a record $650. Congratulations to the girls!! They did a remarkable job.
