We have just received a new yarn from Manos del Uruguay--Rittenhouse Merino 5-ply. Rittenhouse is an extrafine kettle dyed merino that combines wonderful softness, excellent stitch definition, and rich color. It knits at a gauge of 18-20 sts/ 4 inches on US 7-8 needles. Each skein has a generous 240 yds.
Two new colors of Manos Wool Classica have also arrived--"Fruit Salad" and "Blue Jay." The natural variations in texture and color produce a rich knitted fabric ideal for outerware; the yarn takes particularly well to simple stitch patterns and felts beautifully! Each skein has 138 yds. and knits to a gauge of 4 st/inch on a US 9.
